BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:55 P.M.) – The U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, announced during a U.N. session on Sunday that the U.S. will not withdraw their troops until their goals are accomplished.
The U.S. Ambassador did not specify the goals; however, it is most likely to do with defeating the Islamic State (ISIS).
Haley’s comments come just a day after the U.S. carried out their largest attack against the Syrian government in the Syrian provinces of Homs and Damascus.
The Syrian and Russian governments have not yet responded to Haley.
