The US-led coalition has carried out an airstrike against a Fateh al-Sham military training camp in the West Aleppo countryside. Specifically, the training camp was located in Sheikh Salma, and more than 60 casualties have been reported so far (social media accounts linked to the group admitted around 50 fighters were killed.)
According to emerging reports, the facility was also used by the Al-Zinki movement. Fateh al-Sham, Al-Qaeda’s ex-affiliate in Syria, is a prominent opposition group. The US-led air coalition has mainly focused its efforts on attacking ISIS, although they have targeted other militias, such as the Khorosan group.
The images below show the aftermath of the airstrike.
