BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:15 A.M.) – Russia, the United States and Jordan have reached an agreement which will allow the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) to take over control of virtually all of militant-held southern Syria with the exception of a Coalition-occupied base near the Iraqi border.

The agreement will see pro-government forces assume control over nine hundred (900) key points – which until now were held by US-backed mercenaries – throughout Syria’s great southern desert region.

The agreement excludes surrendering a key Coalition base at the town of al-Tanf near the Syrian-Iraqi border where US troops are still reportedly present.

One US-backed Free Syrian Army faction in the region, the Ahmad Abdo Martyrs Brigade, has reportedly abandoned its positions already and is withdrawing towards Jordanian territory.

When exactly the agreement goes into full effect is still not entirely clear yet.

The British left about 2 weeks ago and the US will follow in due course but for the moment they are too proud to accept that their ‘cunning plan’ has not worked 🙂

Nowadays commenting on other regions. However, how annoying frequent Hasbara cum French colonial mindset comments are, there is no reason to insult people only because you do not understand what they are posting. The only and real (as in and out of the ‘caliphate’ on the ground) Daesh/ISIS we have here and on Southfront occasionally is the “Sidney Lauder”. Since he was quiet for quite a while now, he probably got exteminated in his private shithole during the last offensives in Iraq or Suria. Or he is on assignment to Europe or South East Asia already as Daesh is nearly… Read more »

This information was from an unidentified source in French intelligence who is also very very close to President Macron 🙂

The neocons and Israel are continuing to have difficulty accepting reality. The US will leave this and its other Syrian bases in due course – all of them within two years, I imagine, but for the time being there is still a huge amount of cognitive dissonance between self-image and reality on the ground. So much for Karl Rove and the neoconservatives/neoliberals “creating their own reality.”

Source? And confusing anyway. So, won’t the criminal retards not surrender the base because the ziofascist empire plans to keep occupying Syrian territory with its own forces or are they only bragging (as usual) to hold the base even if their employers withdraw?

Amerikans are squatters, once they wiggle their weasel selves in, they never ever leave and they never pay rent and throws their trash all over the neighborhood and plays loud music at all hours. Obnoxiousness loud mouths and uncouth uncultured thugs. You really dont want them anywhere close but can never get rid of them just like warts.

Why does the US want to keep al-Tanf?
What about al-Zuqf?
