A U.S. airstrike on an alleged Al-Qaeda of the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) military site in east Yemen killed at least 27 people tonight, local activists reported.

The airstrike was conducted by a V-22 Osprey Helicopter in the Al-Bayda Governorate, local activists added.

Of the 27 people killed in east Yemen tonight, at least 9 were children and 8 were women; these casualties included the wife and daughter of deceased U.S. citizen Anwar Al-Aulaqi.

Aulaqi was killed by the U.S. Military on September 30th, 2011.

So, what are “activists” doing at an Al-Qaeda (AQAP) military site? Just paying a visit to their TERRORIST friends?

Scoring al-Qaedan hits is always good for everybody! If they use their own families as human shields, too bad for them, they knew the risks, anyway, the kids are brainwashed from the youngest age.

The Osprey is a transport vehicle with machine guns for defensive purposes only. The United States would never use an Osprey to conduct an airstrike, makes no sense at all.

There are also mods to use it as a baby-AC-130 http://foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.com/the-v-22-osprey-finally-gets-the-missiles-and-rockets-i-1668338371 http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nfLoRB10r9s/VIaWboB4clI/AAAAAAAABRI/LmS58UTh9js/s1600/v22%2Bnose%2Bturret2.jpg Well, not very powerful. They really should rebuild Broncos with more powerful engines, maybe extended wings with more fuel onboard and a 30mm belly turret… When you know the price, including the hourly cost of a V-22, anyway, if it can land vertically while there is nearly no fuel onboard, it needs some run to take off… What interst to pay so high price when smth like that could be built again for the third/quarter of price and has bigger payload? : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgiOkD_cw3k We just had a very… Read more »

Aaaaah, al-Qaeda plays the victim now! They’re learning from the “moderate rebels” in Syria and from PLO/Hamas… LOL! Soon we’ll end with protests in Londonistan for the poor qaedans being killed by evil crusaders, ROFL!
Note : a V-22 ain’t a chopper, it’s called a “tiltrotor aircraft”
