BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:10 A.M.) – A massive blast hit the Idlib Governorate city of Jisr Al-Shughour this morning, resulting in tens of casualties.

According to preliminary reports from opposition activists in Idlib, a car bomb was detonated inside a popular part of the city.

Meanwhile, in Damascus, a car bomb was detonated in the Nahr Eshe District, which is located in the southern part of the city.

No casualties have been reported from the explosion in southern Damascus.

No group has claimed responsibility for either attack.

Update (10:40 A.M): One person killed and five others wounded in the Nahr Eshe District.

Update (11:30 A.M.): Source in Damascus says there was no car bomb; he says the explosion was a result of a fuel transportation mishap.
