BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:00 A.M.) – At approximately 12:30 A.M. (Damascus Time), the Turkish Air Force bombed the positions of the Syrian government forces that were stationed in the Afrin region of Aleppo.

According to a military report from Aleppo, the Turkish Air Force bombed the National Defense Forces (NDF) at the town of Sharan in Afrin, killing at least 18 military personnel and wounding three others.

In addition to the death toll, at least 19 other military personnel have declared missing as a result of this bombing.

The Turkish attack last night is believed to be in retaliation for the NDF helping the YPG foil the rebel attack on the Rajou District of Afrin.

Russia is busy keeping international creeps’ hands as away as possible from Syria (esp. Ghouta).
If Kurds come to their senses and hand Afrin down to Syrian gov, then there’s room for talking with Turkey and stopping her. Else the second most powerful NATO Army is in Afrin to ‘solve’ the Kurdistan BS in that quadrant. Period.
Syria let reinforcements, aids and NDF to go in Afrin but simply can’t afford an open war with Turkey. Russia as well isn’t interested in putting EVERYTHING Syria at risk for saving a bunch of childish and ungrateful Kurds.

Well, the NFZ for Turkey is not in force at the moment but Syria & Russia may put it up again and probably should do so to encourage the medieval goat molesters to go east to Manbij, which was the intended plan.

How? A NATO nation is *already* bombing Afrin, what would another colonialist NATO nation do if not complicate matters?

Very complicated. Unless the Kurds give up the US , it’s just stupid to fight Turkey and die for the Kurds

The NDF should have the proper armament already to down the fascist bandits planes and choppers considering all the spoils made from the black, gray, green and white Daesh’s warehouses or confiscated from smuggling attempts. There is no reason why the popular forces should not be able to defend themselves against the Ottoman invaders.
