BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:49 A.M.) – At least 21 people have been killed inside a church from a bomb explosion in the northern Egyptian city of Tanta, according to Egyptian Health Ministry.

Egyptian media are reporting that a further 42 people have also been injured.

The explosion that targeted Egypt’s Christian minority comes on Palm Sunday, which memorializes Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem one week before Easter.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
