BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:20 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continued their offensive in the southern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate, today, targeting the last towns under the control of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham near the eastern railways.

Led by the 124th Brigade of the Republican Guard, the Syrian Arab Army launched an attack on Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions at the hilltop town of Tal Fakhar this morning

Following a short battle, the Syrian Arab Army was able to impose full control over Tal Fakhar, forcing the remaining jihadists to retreat west in order to evade capture by the government forces.

The Syrian Army is now attacking the last five towns under the control of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham near the eastern railways.
