BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:15 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed their offensive in the southeastern countryside of the Idlib Governorate, tonight, after securing the northern flank of the Abu Dhuhour Military Airport.

Backed by Russian airstrikes, the Syrian Arab Army’s Tiger Forces attacked the towns of Al-Wasitah Al-Gharbiyah and Wasitah Al-Sharqiyah in the northern countryside of Abu Dhuhour.

According to a military source, the Syrian Army has entered both of these towns after breaking through Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s front-lines this evening.

The source added that the Syrian Army has decided to remain in the Abu Dhuhour area in order to not only secure the airport, but also, push further north towards the provincial capital.

Meanwhile, in northeast Idlib, the Syrian and Russian air forces have been relentlessly pounding the highway near Saraqib in order to halt the jihadist supplies to the Abu Dhuhour front.
