The Syrian Army agreed on ceasing the aerial campaign on Jayrud after militants vowed to hand over the body of the slain pilot.

Militants fighting for Jabhet al-Nusra executed, yesterday, major Nawras Hassan after his Su-22 was downed in Jayrud, eastern Qalamoun.

Having vowed to avenge the execution, the Syrian Air Forces pounded militants’ positions in the area, killing at least 31 and wounding dozens.

What kind of agreement is that? Oh you killed our pilot, so we’re not going to bomb you anymore.

Why is th Syrian military ceasing their opperations against these militants so quickly. This is a war crime. Jabhet al Nusra should have paid a heavier price for this atrocity.

why do they need for a tragedy like this to make them pound these terrorists with full force?they need to stop going lax on them or making deals and start using iron fisted measures non stop already

You are right. They should have been doing this all the time. Handing over the body will not bring him back to life. Instead of keeping him as a prisoner they put a huge hole through the back of his head. It is foolish to let up just for the return of his body. Going soft on these terrorists is why they continue to exist in Syria in such large numbers. Syrian patriotic forces have not been doing their job properly since the start of the war – they are holding back a lot for some reason.

The agreement was to surrender the pilot’s body. The extremists refused in the beginning, but after a few raids by the the SAF on their strongholds in town now forced to do so.
If looks like force is the only language those people understand.
The body has been released and its now on the way to Tishrines military hospital.

This is how things go with nazislamists : same thing with their forefathers in the nazis or the Ummeyad caliphate that invaded Europe…
Nonetheless, they made beasts of themselves, but rabid beasts and there’s no cure for rabid so…
