BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:00 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has scored their first advance inside the Latakia Governorate this month, a source from the military told Al-Masdar moments ago.

According to the source, the Syrian Arab Army was able to advance at the southern axis of Kabani after peppering the jihadist defenses with missiles for several hours on Tuesday.

The source added that intense clashes are ongoing between the Syrian Army’s 4th Armored Division and Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham at the southern axis of Kabani.

Kabani is an imperative mountaintop town that is located in the Zuwayqat Mountain region in northeastern Latakia. The Syrian Army is attempting to capture the town in order to regain control over the last jihadist-held areas in the Latakia Governorate.

The Syrian Army’s previous attempts to capture Kabani have failed, despite the fact they have the larger force and air supremacy.

That’s why Turkey asked for peace talks with Russia today…

Now I understand the reasons for ceasefire talks between Russia and Turkey, for sure under the kind invitation of their Turkish counterparts.
On the verge of falling Kabani in the hands of the Syrian army, any means will be good for the Turks to avoid it. Still able to pretend as always hypocritical intentions of peace in order to achieve their evil ends and objectives.
I do not know whether to condemn the Turks or Russia for following the Turkish game, knowing from the beginning, the evil intentions of the Turks

This report never intimated Kabane was on the verge of falling. Was there not a certain Erdog claiming Kobane was on the verge of falling in 2014? We all know how that worked out.

“The Syrian Army’s previous attempts to capture Kabani have failed, despite the fact they have the larger force and air supremacy,” but lack of tactic is also very very high (and professional responsibility and behavior).

La operación debe ser conjunto con la fuerza aérea y terrestre sin descanso alguno, el alto al fuego sólo sirve para fortalecer a los terroristas..
