BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:30 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a new attack against the jihadist rebels in northwestern Syria this afternoon, a military source told Al-Masdar News.
According to the military source, the Syrian Arab Army launched a fresh attack on the jihadist defenses in the Al-Ghaab Plain of southwest Idlib.
In particular, the Syrian Arab Army forces in the town of Joureen fired a number of surface-to-surface missiles towards the jihadist positions in the towns of Ziyara and Tal Al-Wasit.
The source added that the Syrian Arab Army’s attack targeted the jihadist positions near the Turkish military posts in the Al-Ghaab Plain.
Today’s attack by the Syrian Arab Army comes just hours after they struck Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions in the same towns.
