BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:00 P.M.) – Minutes ago, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) crossed the Euphrates River from the recently liberated areas of northwest Deir Ezzor and seized a new town along the eastern bank of this waterway.

Under the cover of Russian airstrikes, the Syrian Arab Army was able to cross the Euphrates with little-to-no resistance from the retreating Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists.

Once they reached land, the Syrian Arab Army attacked the small town of Al-Nashid, where they were met with some resistance from the Islamic State forces.

The Syrian Arab Army was able to impose full control over Al-Nashid after the remaining Islamic State terrorists were forced to retreat east of the town.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.

I think the gloves are off from now on. There is nothing good waiting for SDF (YPG). They just bet on the wrong horse…

SAA & SDF are still largely allied against external forces trying to destroy Syria. Do you think Turks are going to return N Aleppo to Syria?

Good news, yank corpses continue to fill body bags as Syrians continue to liberate their country from yank filth.

Meagre worthless consolation price. These troops need to be deployed where it matters most; to reclaim Syria’s oil and gas fields on the South Eatern shores of the Euphrates river. Have Russia and the Syrian government troops surrendered to the US/Zionist colonial imperialost invaders and their Kurdish slaves?

Syrian Arab fascists are not “liberating” anything. The Syrian people don’t want them.

Good, more troops will be needed on both sides of river to take Mayadreen. So far SDF Shadour Offensive has been understaffed.
