BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:50 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed their field operations in the eastern suburbs of Damascus, today, striking the defenses of Faylaq Al-Rahman inside the ‘Ayn Tarma Triangle.

Backed by their air force, the Syrian Arab Army’s 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard carried out a special operation this morning that targeted a large supply tunnel used by Faylaq Al-Rahman inside this large suburb of Damascus.

According to a military source in Damascus, the Syrian Arab Army captured a 200 meter long tunnel that is used by Faylaq Al-Rahman to resupply their comrades near the government’s front-lines in ‘Ayn Tarma.

In addition to capturing this tunnel, the Syrian Arab Army attacked the remaining buildings under Faylaq Al-Rahman’s control near the ‘Ayn Tarma Meat Market; they are currently advancing.
