The Syrian Arab Army – in coordination with the Palestine Liberation Army and Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC) – has taken control of three building blocks in the southern perimeter of the Al-Tadamon District after fierce clashes with forces loyal to the Free Syrian Army (FSA).
The SAA and their allies now control 85% of the Al-Tadamon District in southern Damascus, with only a small area of resistance in the south remaining under the control of armed militants.
