Minutes ago, the Syrian Armed Forces continued their large-scale northern Aleppo offensive after the conclusion of the Russian airstrikes over the Handarat Mountains and ‘Anadan Plains.

Led by the Tiger Forces and their prominent commander Colonel Suheil Al-Hassan, the Syrian Armed Forces stormed both the western and southern farms of Al-Malaah, where they were confronted by a large unit of jihadists from Jabhat Al-Nusra and Nouriddeen Al-Zinki.

Preliminary reports from northern Aleppo indicate that the Tiger Forces have infiltrated the jihadist front-lines; however, this could not be verified by Al-Masdar’s local field correspondent with the Tiger Forces.

I have a bad sense about this offensive.

Raqqa was a mistake, but this is exactly where the SAA should be pushing.

Recovering Aleppo will be game over for Turkey, forcing this antagonist to rethink their support for terrorism in Syria.

“where they were confronted by a large unit of jihadists”
After all the heavy Russian airstrikes???? It supposed to be a stroll in a park!
As you advance and hit a significant resistance, you call in the airsupport. Resistance gone.
Is this “large unit” one of those ‘journalistic colorisation’?
