The Syrian Arab Army’s 1st Armored Division – in coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF) and Hezbollah – has captured the strategic Jabeh Mountains on the border of Lebanon after fierce clashes with the militants from the Syrian Al-Qaeda group “Jabhat Al-Nusra” in the Qalamoun Mountains.
According to a military source in Damascus, Jabal Bareh is located near the Al-Moussa Hill and the Hezbollah-controlled town of Faleeta in the Qalamoun Mountains; it was controlled by the militants of Jabhat Al-Nusra and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) for three years before its recapture on Monday morning.
