BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:20 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) has just launched a new attack over northern Syria, marking the first time since Thursday that they have bombed the militant-held areas.
According to a report from northwestern Hama, the Syrian Air Force bombed the militant-held town of Khan Sheikhoun in the southern countryside of the Idlib Governorate.
The report said the Syrian Air Force used both attack helicopters and their L-39 Albatross military aircraft to bomb the Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham-held town in southern Idlib.
In addition to targeting southern Idlib, the Syrian Air Force has also struck the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate.
The attacks on the Hama Governorate mostly targeted the last areas under Jaysh Al-Izza control.
