BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:10 P.M.) – Syria is planning to reopen the Goseih Crossing with Lebanon by the end of the year, the Homs Governor Talal Al-Barazi confirmed today.

According to Barazi, the Lebanese and Syrian governments have made all the necessary preparations and agreed to reopen this crossing to the public within the next two weeks.

Barazi added that the Goseih Crossing has been rebuilt after it was completely destroyed by the terrorist forces that previously occupied it.

The Goseih Crossing is located in southeast Homs near the border-city of Al-Qusayr; it was previously under the control of jihadists for the last four years.
