The Saada Governorate has long been a stronghold for the Houthi forces, which has made it a primary target for the Saudi-led Coalition’s airstrikes.
This latest massacre comes just a week after the Saudi-led Coalition killed dozens of people in the provincial capital of the Hodeidah Governorate.
The Saudi-led Coalition accused the Houthi forces of carrying out the attack; however, local activists reported warplanes targeting the area where the massacre took place.
