BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:40 P.M.) – The Russian Aerospace Forces have bombed US-backed, Kurdish-led forces in eastern Deir Ezzor Governorate according to official Kurdish social media sources.

As stated by some reports, Russian airstrikes targeted Kurdish-led forces positions in the area of the Conoco Gas Field to the southeast of Deir Ezzor city, however other reports are saying that the alleged Russian bombing took place to the north of the provincial capital.

Kurdish sources are also reporting causalities although no specific numbers have yet been clarified.

The more official reports also talk about “heavy shelling,” but it hard to tell whether this is a reference to Syrian Army artillery bombardment or still a reference to the alleged Russian airstrikes.

That is how it should be, the Kurds are terrorists taking opportunity to steal Syria land and resources. They were in Raqqa suddenly they are rushing South chasing Syrian resources.

Kurds should go back to where they come from. They are not even 10% of the total population of the North East of Syria and yet wants to takeover half the resources of Syria.

In fact there been no Kurds in Syria till a couple of decades ago. They came to Syria from Iraq and Turkey and Syria gave them the opportunity to settle in the North.

What is where? Nobody really knows where the so called “Kurds” are coming from. There is no written history about it, Kurds don’t have any literature or history of their origin. In fact there are no “Kurds” in a sense as an ethnic or homogenic group or common language.

The Kurds should do a deal with the Syrian regime for federal status with proportional representation in the Syrian parliament. Otherwise they will face not just a hostile Syrian regime, but a land-grabbing Turkish one to the north, and also hostile Iranian and Iraqi governments.

This thing can escalate pretty quickly if not some cool heads in both Russian and U.S. camp can calm things down. They should first concentrate on finishing off ISIS then start cleansing HTS (Al-Qaeda) in Idlib governorate…

Finally the ‘Patient and Polite Russian’ strategy of waiting for the US Coalition of Terror Enablers to bear ripened ( if not rotten) fruit. The US Military has been forced from the shadows where the CIA,Mossad,M16 et al were actively operating and assisting the Terror constructs that are now mostly known as ISIS and Al Nusra. The killing of a senior Russian General this week with a ‘lucky mortar shell’ ( the same ‘lucky’ type of shell that just happened to hit a tented and concealed Russian Military hospital that had just begun treating civilians in Aleppo) is just the… Read more »

You probably don’t understand the reality, right? ISIS is a joo-american proxy. SDF is a joo-american proxy too. They have the same goals. To steal as much Syrian land as possible. All for “greater” (isra)Hell.

Nope, they need to reign in the Kurds – ignorant bunch that is. Letting Kurds+ solidify their gains is way more dangerous. If there’d be a rock solid coalition between Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey and Russia then letting the Kurds roll on would be a viable option, simply because in the end just blockade the kurdish occupied regions and starve them into submission. However, since Turkey is by no means a reliable ally and Iraq is somewhat shaky due to american meddling this’d be an extremely risky move by the R6+1.
