BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:40 P.M.) – It will be another long night for the jihadist rebels of the Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP) and Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham as the Russian Air Force has begun another round of airstrikes over their stronghold of Kabani in northeastern Latakia.
According to a military source from the 4th Armored Division, the Russian Air Force unleashed a flurry of airstrikes on Kabani and its surroundings, causing several powerful explosions that could be heard throughout the northeastern countryside of the Latakia Governorate.
The Russian airstrikes on Kabani were followed by a plethora of missiles fired by the Syrian Arab Army’s 4th Division from their Golan-1000 launcher.
With their recent advance at Height 1154 in the Zuwayqat Mountains, the Syrian Arab Army’s 4th Division is now in position to launch their new offensive to capture the key town of Kabani.
Previously, the Syrian Republican Guard forces attempted to capture Kabani; however, they were unable to crack Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s lines at the southern part of the town.
