BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:30 A.M.) – Minutes ago, the Russian Air Force launched several airstrikes over the jihadist rebel positions in the Idlib Governorate, a military source told Al-Masdar News.

According to a military source in the Latakia Governorate, the Russian Air Force launched several airstrikes over the jihadist-held towns of Baksariyah and Marand, hitting a number of sites controlled by the radical groups in this area.

The aforementioned towns are located inside the Jisr Al-Shughour Distirct near the Turkish border.

The source said that the Russian Air Force was targeting members of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and the Turkestan Islamic Party.

No further details have been released at this time.

Typically, when the Russian Air Force carries out airstrikes in this part of the country, it is because they have information about jihadist movements in the area.

No compromise with the sovereignty of Syria. This will stop the Turks in their track from attacking Syria in Manbij.

After SAA surrounded Manbij, this town is pretty much safe. Now the mad dogs are moving to Kobane front. Kurds better ask Assad for air support because soon Kobane would be blown in the air…

@USR, Kobane is a ghost town. There is nothing left. That town was totally destroyed to rubble by the Coalition bombing and the urban war street to street fight the YPG Kurds fought against Daesh and got the town back.

It is high time the Idlib operation is long over due. Just get it started and get rid of all these Turki supported terrorists & head choppers from Idlib. It is high time. Let these guys escape into Turki if they wish or fight and die. No compromise with the sovereignty of Syria. This will also stop the Turks in their track from attacking Syria in Manbij.
