The Daily Sabah has reported that all entry and exit points at Istanbul’s Atatürk airport have been momentarily closed after gunman on motorcycles opened fire.
Local media have also found a suspicious package in which they will detonate.
Two suspects were on the motorcycle, one was shot at by police and wounded and the second attacker who fled into the airport car park was found moments later.
Meanwhile airline sources are saying that flights have resumed as normal.
Kaos ortamı yaratmaya çalışanlara aldanmayın. Atatürk Havalimanı'nda şuan her şey normal ve uçuşlar seyrinde devam ediyor.
