Local sources are claiming that ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi has been wounded by airstrikes in Al-Ba’aj in northern Iraq.
Al-Ba’aj is currently the third largest ISIS bastion left in Iraq after Mosul and the Turkmen majority city of Tal Afar.
Both cities are currently in the process of being liberated by pro-government forces.
Local sources have not yet verified whether the airstrikes were by the Iraqi government or the US-led coalition.
The authenticity of these reports could not be independently verified by Al-Masdar News at this time.
