BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:50 P.M.) – The rebel forces inside Daraa city have allegedly accepted a deal to surrender the areas they control to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), local field journalists reported this afternoon.

According to their reports, the rebels have agreed to handover the Daraa Al-Balad District and the remaining areas they control around the city in exchange for reconciliation with the government.

The reports added that the rebels who refuse to reconcile with the government will be transported to western Daraa or northern Syria.

If these reports prove true, then the battle for Daraa city will end in a decisive victory for the Syrian Arab Army after several years of war.

Furthermore, the rebels will find themselves trapped in the western countryside of the Daraa Governorate, as the Syrian Army moves towards this region.
