BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:30 A.M.) – A large convoy filled with militants and and their family members has departed from the East Ghouta for northern Syria, a military source in Damascus told Al-Masdar News tonight.
According to the source, at least 77 buses carrying 5,257 people left the East Ghouta suburbs tonight.
This is the largest convoy to leave the East Ghouta region since the agreement was put in place between the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Faylaq Al-Rahman.
Following tonight’s departure, Faylaq Al-Rahman has nearly sent all of their fighters to the Afrin region in Aleppo – only a few remain.
