Hardline fighters in the central Syrian city of Hama attacked a checkpoint for the Syrian Army in Suran.

Pro-rebel groups reported that a suicide bomber blew up his VBIED in and Army outpost on the road linking Suran to the rebel-held Taibat al-Imam, just near the bridge.

Following the deadly attack, another suicide bomber drove his VBIED to the entrance of the city, where he detonated himself.

No further reports have been yet obtained about the number of casualties.

A coalition of Jihadi groups, including Ha’yat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), Jaish al-Nasr and Jaish al-Izzah, officially announced a full-scale offensive on government forces in Suran and nearby towns.
