BEITUT, LEBANON (4:10 A.M.) – The Israeli Air Force, alongside with their navy, have launched a massive attack along the Gazan coast, local activists have reported from the western districts of this Palestinian region.
According to the reports, the Israeli air and naval forces heavily targeted the towns of Khan Younis and Rafah, along with the Al-Ramal and Al-Zeitoun districts, causing powerful explosions that could be heard throughout the strip.
The reports said several missiles hit Keshkou Street in eastern Al-Zeitoun, while a number of projectiles struck the bases of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and Al-Quds Brigade (Liwaa Al-Quds).
The PIJ reported via their official media wing that at least two of their combatants were killed during the heavy bombardment by the Israeli Armed Forces this morning.
The PIJ added the two fighters killed during he heavy bombardment this morning were Mahmoud Sobhi ‘Issa and Fawzi Bawadi; they were reported dead after Israeli missiles hit the Al-Bureij Camp in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli attack this evening was reportedly carried out in response to several missiles fired by the PIJ and Al-Quds Brigade on the Israeli settlements near the Gaza Strip.
