BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:40 P.M.) – The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) claimed this evening that a number of anti-aircraft missiles were fired into the occupied Golan Heights region from Syria.

The IDF alleged that the anti-aircraft missiles were specifically fired towards Mount Hermon (Jabal Sheikh), which is the same site they previously claimed was attacked by projectiles from Syria.

Israel holds the Syrian military responsible for all such attacks, even if the latter is not involved.

The Israeli military will likely respond in the coming hours, as they have in the past. They will most likely target a Syrian air defense site inside western Damascus or the Al-Quneitra Governorate.

The Israeli military has already bombed Syria on two separate occasions this month, with the last attack resulting in the partial destruction of the T-4 Airbase in eastern Homs.

Israel just looking for excuses to destroy syrian weapons and military bases . Either Russian negotiation must stop israel or a real retaliation must be done by syria otherwise the next excuse is a syrian soldier shouting loud at Golan border

Assuming this is true then it is their Jihadis doing this and they supplied the weapons. Remember all those Israeli crossing into the demilitarized were not without a purpose.

Article forgets what IDF SPOX published : radars identified an anti-aircraft missile which fell short inside Syria and never posed a threat to Israel.

+++ “Either Russian negotiation must stop Israel” => Russians wouldn’t be operating in Syria hadn’t Israel allowed it… Not really Israeli interest to see Syria turned into a giant Hamastan… It’s also not their interest to see the Lebanonisation of Syria. The good point : It’s neither Russia nor US interest too, and it’s the same for Gulf monarchies. Russians will simply let the Israelis hammer IRGC and Hezbollah at will, don’t even hope them to move the little finger… +++”or a real retaliation must be done by syria” => With what? As long as SyADF/SAA/SyAAF don’t fück with Israel,… Read more »

“Russians wouldn’t be operating in Syria hadn’t Israel allowed it… ==>” you mean like the IDF militarily taking on Russian forces to prevent them from settling their navy and airforce in when Putin decided it ? how many of you blind Tsahal supporters actually delve into that grand delusion ? Israel never had a say on the matter and was not even consulted before Putin deployed its assets all over Syria, not anymore than the US or Europe was, it was imposed as fait accompli when the first bombes tore the very first jihadist bases apart, so why the heck… Read more »

“hey don’t even need excuses : Syria support to Hezbollah over many years is already a casus belli. The fact that Syria allows weapons transit from Iran to Hezbo is also a violation of UNSC Res.1701. ” ==> There goes DoucheBagSux’s cover under his new alias, same old bullocks about international law rushing to the rescue of the world’s #1 violator of the same law. How about you take a look at these first, some dating back before Hezbollah was even founded to confront and finally oust its stain of a filthy occupying presence out of Lebanon : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_Nations_resolutions_concerning_Israel “As… Read more »

Yeah, the guy has no limits of delusion, no dignity, zero conscience of reality, tripping all the way. Too bad military thinkers in Israel are not as stupid and actually know a bit about grossly unfavorable balance of power. Indeed, if they were, and crossed that very line, their country’s war-fighting capability and critical infrastructure all over would be taken close to zero literally overnight. Guess what happened when a US Spy plane wandered too close to Russian-controlled airspace in Syria ? the plane turned back, and the yanks just whined on TV about how “unsafe” and “not pro” the… Read more »

Another Zionist false-flag attack ordered by Netanyahu, Trump, Bin Salman and Erdogan. Remember the Lavon Affair, the USS Liberty and 9/11!
