Led by their Republican Guard and 42nd Brigade (Ghiath Forces) of the 4th Division, the Syrian Arab Army liberated several building blocks around the Al-Shafi Mosque and all of the buildings surrounding the Al-Hassob School in northwest Hajar Al-Aswad. .
According to a military source in Damascus, the Syrian Army and their allies now control more than 90 percent of Hajar Al-Aswad after today’s advance.
At the same time, the fifth batch of rebels and their family members departed from Beit Sahm, Yalda, and Babila, leaving only a small amount of militants left before the Syrian military is in full control of the towns.
