The US-led coalition reported earlier in October that with help of Iraqi Special Forces they managed to arrest 10 members of a suspected network that provided funds to the Daesh* terror group.

Combined Joint Task Force of the US coalition stated Monday that Iraqi servicemen had eliminated a dangerous Daesh officer.

“Combined Joint Task Force — Operation Inherent Resolve’s partner, the Iraqi Security Forces eliminated an ISIS [Daesh] fighter and senior leader known as ‘Katkut,’ during an operation on Nov. 21, in Salah ad Din province, Iraq,” the release said.

The US-led coalition of more than 70 countries is conducting military operations against Daesh in the country with the cooperation of the Iraqi government.

At the end of 2017, Baghdad declared victory over the terrorist organisation, noting, however, that the fight against remaining cells would continue.

Any Daesh Donkey killed by U S is a high ranking. SDF Kurds are being killed in plenty 100s by Daesh and not even 1 amerikan KIA by Daesh. When it comes to ground based fighting it is the Kurds & Iraqis who have to take the shiet. One just wonders all the F-16s,F-22s, Killer Drones, Choppers, Battle Ships, Submarines, Spy Satellites, long range missiles etc aren’t able to defeat Daesh? Even after fighting them with all the superior technology & strength for over 3 years now? Is it becos of military incompetence or strategy? How long do the US… Read more »
