BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 A.M.) – Iran has summoned the envoys of the United Kingdom, Denmark and the Netherlands after the deadly terrorist attack that rocked the city of Ahvaz on Saturday.
According to the state-owned Islamic Republic’s News Agency (IRNA), Iran summoned the envoys of these three European nations after accusing them of harboring opposition groups hostile to the Persian Gulf nation.
No further details were released at this time.
On late Saturday, the Iranian government accused the U.S. and Israel of being behind this terrorist that killed at least 24 people and injured more than 50 others.
The so-called “Islamic State” (IS/ISIS/ISIL/Daesh) has claimed responsibility for this attack via their official media wing.
