Iran is prepared for the possibility of war with the United States, but hopes instead that tensions between the two nations can be solved with dialogue, the country’s deputy foreign minister has said.

“We hope that we can start a dialogue, but we are ready for war,” Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi told RIA Novosti.

The comments by the Iranian Foreign Ministry comes just hours after U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton accused Tehran of carrying out a naval mine attack off the coast of the United Arab Emirates.

There won’t be war. Just pest control on the regime and its mafia. If the chiefs of staff of the regular army, they will stay neutral and they’ll keep their jobs once Reza Shah will be on the throne. The alternative? I’d advise them to take a good life-insurance and a good funeral insurance : their families will badly need it… Any way, the EC-130 Compass Point will directly call the chiefs of units on their cell-phones or cyphered radios… Yanks neither want to kill Iranians nor to invade the country, they just want to help the ayatollahs to go… Read more »

That bus left a long time ago when they couldnt defeat the Vietnamese.
The US has since been living in the sunset of superpower myth.
Only being able to take on 3rd world countries in battle does not qualify as superpower status.
