BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:55 P.M.) – The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) claimed on Tuesday that their missile defense system took down an unmanned aircraft that was flying into the occupied Golan Heights area from the Syrian province of Al-Quneitra.

“A short while ago, the IDF intercepted a UAV that attempted to infiltrate Israeli airspace in the Golan Heights,” the IDF spokesperson claimed.

The IDF was able to down the unmanned aircraft with their patriot defense missile.

No further details were released.
