BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:10 P.M.) – The Houthi forces kicked off a new offensive in the eastern part of the Sanaa Governorate this afternoon, the Yemeni group’s official media wing reported.

According to the Houthi forces, their fighters stormed the Saudi-backed troops inside the Al-Qarn area of the Nihm District.

The Houthi forces claimed that their fighters managed to capture several points in the Nihm District after they overran the front-lines of the Saudi-backed troops.

Furthermore, the Houthi forces claimed that they killed and wounded dozens of Saudi-led troops during this afternoon’s offensive.

The Houthi forces were previously on the defensive in the Nihm District as the Saudi-backed troops have repeatedly tried to capture the eastern part of Sanaa.

Again a BS from AMN on Yemen news, the Houthis didn’t claim conquering or capturing positions from Saudi backed troops, but only a simple raid on Saudi-backed positions in the south of Al Qarn area, killing and wounding several troops before a tactical retreat after the raid.
