BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:10 P.M.) – The Israeli Air Force is currently conducting low altitude flights along the Lebanese-Syrian border, a military source in Damascus told Al-Masdar News this evening.
According to the source, there is a heavy presence of Israeli warplanes flying over the Jabal Sheikh (Mount Hermon) region.
The source added that the Syrian military is currently on high alert as the Israeli Air Force often attacks Damascus from this region.
Earlier in the day, an Iranian IL-76 cargo plane traveled from Tehran to Damascus, marking the first time since the Israeli attack last Sunday that Iran made this flight.
Should Israel attack Syria this evening, it will likely target the area around the Damascus International Airport.
