BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:00 P.M.) – A Syrian military source in Damascus informed Al-Masdar News this afternoon that the death toll from the alleged U.S. attack on the army’s positions in Albukamal’s countryside has risen significantly.

According to the source, at least 40 soldiers from the Syrian Arab Army and Iraqi paramilitary forces were killed as a result of these airstrikes.

The source said the majority of the dead were Syrian Arab Army soldiers that were deployed to the Al-Harri front to protect against any potential Islamic State (ISIS) assault.

Furthermore, the source said the Syrian military believes the attack was carried out by the U.S. Coalition due to the location from where the aircraft came from in eastern Syria.

In response to these allegations, the Pentagon has denied carrying out this deadly attack in eastern Syria.

This is the second time in three weeks that the Syrian Army has accused the U.S. Coalition of bombing their troops in southeast Syria.

The Syrian Army has not responded to the attack and will not likely attack the US-backed forces in the region, as this would only escalate the situation and lead to violent confrontation.

Furthermore, it is not necessarily clear that the U.S. Coalition carried out the attack, a some pro-government activists have accused the Israeli Air Force of carrying out the airstrikes.

Albukamal is a long distance from the Israeli border, but it would be a viable target for their military, given the large presence of Iranian-backed forces near the Iraqi-Syrian border.

Israel has also never attacked the Syrian military this far from their border, so if they were behind this – this would be the first time they have every bombed the Deir Ezzor Governorate.

Though, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did vow to attack the Iranian-backed forces anywhere inside Syria during his weekly cabinet meeting.

This is a threat that he and his Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman have made on several occasions in the past.

It does not matter who of the western countries did the attack. This was a western attack. Well, given this air trick one can say now that ISIS has air support from western countries. It is time for Syria to use missiles on this part of its land.

Obviously the US claim to be in charge there. So they are responsible no matter who carried out the attack. The US and their allies will continue the shabby conduct until they are also attacked by no one and out of the sun. And ALL will deny their responsibility then also.

So since Syria backs Hezbo, which, before 9-11, was the #1 terrorist organisation on Earth, here we are, Assad has become an Iranian Puppet helping the spread of the Shia caliphate…
Islamic Republic of Syria sounds good, isn’t it?
This is NOT ISIS related.
It’s Hezb/Iran related… Hezb has fucked with too many countries, even Panama was hit by Hezb terror actions. If you think that Iran will get away with all this shït without paying any price…

This is an attack on anyone posing a threat to ISIS in the border area including Iraqi paramilitary, Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (Hashd Al-Sha’abi). Iraqi paramilitary reported that their troops eliminated scores of Islamic State terrorists during an operation this morning.

The Iraqi paramilitary did not specify where the attack took place, but several activists reported of intense ground operations near the Al-Rutbah Crossing.

ISIS has nothing to do in it. Israel has saved Iran’s a$$ in the 80’s, Khamenei back-stab them for 35 years using proxies as the coward he is, fearing to directly fight Israel as his bälls are too small, now IRGC/Hezb are no more necessary to save Syria, Khamenei exposing his troops and proxies into Israeli kill-zone, he will pay for his acts… Now he faces a catch-22 as it’s too late to pull out with a Dubya-style ‘mission accomplished’, so either he pulls out and loses face by bowing under Israeli pressure, so will be seen as weak in… Read more »

Armed drones fly over the ManPADS and AA-guns max ceiling. 😉
BTW it’s ManPADS as the “S” means System(s).
In fact, I really ask myself why IDF hasn’t really considered to REALLY kick Iran+proxies bütt for long, and in a really hard way : at the same time they were the #1 arms supplier to Iran, avoiding the country to fall under Saddam’s iron boot, Khamenei was building Hezbollah to back-stab them from Lebanon.

Iran should quit Syria if the resistance forces are incapable of neutralizing USA and ZIONISTS threats in SYRIA, Just let the RUSSIAN Led peace initiative work.
If its not feasible to acknowledge the new dynamics of alliances in region and RUSSIAN position and act accordingly.
Just quit man then

In case you wouldn’t know, the mullah support the Talebans and Hamas. If you think they’re not into imperialism, you have it all wrong.
