On Wednesday afternoon, the Syrian Arab Army’s “Cheetah Forces Team 6” (Tiger Forces brigade) – in coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF) of Aleppo City and Kataebat Al-Ba’ath (Al-Ba’ath Battalions) – launched a new assault on the Deir Hafer Plains in the Aleppo Governorate’s eastern countryside, targeting the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham’s (ISIS) defensive positions near the strategic Aleppo-Raqqa Highway.
The Cheetah Forces and their allies conducted their assault from the East Kuweires village, where they struck a trapped ISIS contingent at the eastern flank of the nearby village of Judidah; this resulted in an intense series of firefights between the two opposing sides.
Unfortunately for ISIS, they were completely overpowered by the Cheetah Forces Team 6 and the Tiger Forces’ elite tank battalion at Judidah; this battle concluded with the terrorist group retreating north in order to evade the swarming soldiers from the Syrian Armed Forces that were hell-bent on pressing further west towards the provincial capital.
South of the recently liberated Kuweires Military Airport, the Cheetah Forces – backed by the National Defense Forces – struck ISIS at two different villages near Jabboul Lake, targeting Qutibiyah and Umm Arkilah along the Deir Hafer Plains’ southern perimeter.
Currently, the Cheetah Forces and their allies are on the move, striking the terrorist group at every site along their thing supply route to the Kuweries Military Airport.
