According to Lebanese media, a deadly roadside bomb has ripped through al-Ain village leaving at least one person dead and several others wounded on Wednesday.
Initial reports suggest that the blast hit a bus.
The village is located in Baalbek District of Lebanon’s eastern province of Beqaa.
The victim has been identified as Khalid Houri, the deputy mayor of al-Ain, suggesting that this was a targeted attack.
No group has taken responsibility for the attack at this moment.
