The Syrian Army’s Tiger Forces have captured Abou Taltal directly to the south of ISIS-held Al-Bab.
This puts the Tiger Forces under 2km from the southern gates of Al-Bab, and comes just as Turkish-led forces have entered the city.
The advance occurred with cover from Russian airstrikes that followed with heavy clashes with the terrorist group that began in the morning.
With the capture of Abou Taltal, the Syrian Army effectively now has fire control over Tadef, which lays directly south of Al-Bab.
