DAMASCUS, SYRIA (2:40 P.M.) – About an hour ago, armed jihadists loyal to the Islamic State attacked a bus full of Christian Copts while traveling on a road in Menyah, Egypt.
Officials said the vehicle had been hit by over one hundred bullets, resulting in the death of at least 23 Egyptians of the minority sect. The ISIS militants are still at large after the hit-and-run attack.
ISIS has repeatedly targeted Egypts Coptic community, claiming them to be disbelievers and supporters of the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his armed forces.
Not long ago, ISIS released a lengthy propaganda video, calling on its supporters to slaughter Christians across Egypt.
