A new explosion rocks the city of Arsal on Friday, with this time the target was a Lebanese army patrol.
Al-Manar correspondent in Bekaa reported that five soldiers were slightly injured in the attack.
An army vehicle was also harmed by the blast, the correspondent said.
He reported that the army staged arrest campaign in the Syrian refugee camps in the town, noting that the patrol came under fire after the explosion from a nearby Syrian encampment.
The army unit was patrolling Al-Jammala road in the Ras al-Sarj neighborhood in the northeastern border town of Arsal when the blast went off.
Earlier on Thursday, a suspected suicide bomber on a motorbike blew himself up during a meeting in the Sabil neighborhood for the Committee of Qalamoun Scholars.
