A bomb attack has ripped through the Syrian coastal city of Tartus killing at least two security officers who stopped the attackers from entering a more crowded area.
The bombers detonated their explosives after being stopped by security forces.
This has occurred as a countrywide ceasefire enters its third day.
The city, a pro-government stronghold, has been virtually untouched from the war.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for this terrorist attack.
