BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:40 P.M.) – Belarus is currently in talks with Azerbaijan to supply the latter with Belorussian military equipment, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev told reporters following his talks with his Belorussian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko on Monday.
According to BelTA, the two presidents are working to create a contract and reach an agreement on the sale of these Belorussian weapons.
“In the shortest possible time it will be transformed into a contract to purchase another consignment of military equipment from Belarus,” Ilham Aliyev said, as quoted by BelTA.
“It is no coincidence that military technical cooperation between our countries has a long history. It is characterized by big volumes and a good trend towards expansion,” Aliyev added.
