Contingents from the Syrian Arab Army’s 2nd Army Corps captured multiple areas from the Islamic Front in the Aleppo Governorate, killing scores of militants earlier today. The SAA recaptured the strategic village of Al-Jubeileh – located near the Aleppo Central Prison – after sporadic firefights over the last two weeks. According to a military source, 23 militants were confirmed killed-in-action (KIA), while another 14 were recorded injured or captured.

Nearby Al-Jubeileh, the SAA and National Defense Forces (NDF) captured the Aleppo Glass Factory and Cement Plant (see map above) during their offensive in the afternoon. These strategic areas are located northeast of the recently SAA-controlled Handarat District and just northwest of the Aleppo Central Prison.

Continuing their success in west Aleppo, the SAA successfully thwarted Islamic Front insurgents from the main road leading to the Aleppo Infantry School. The capture of this road between Al-Muslimiyyeh and the Aleppo Infantry School creates more issues for the embattled Islamic Front in this area, as the SAA now has a main supply route into the area.

When the President Assad’s Syrian Army forces capture Aleppo, it will be one of the greatest victories against al Qaeda forces since the War on Terror began. Syria has never threatened anyone but al Qaeda sent 3,000 Americans to fiery deaths on 9-11. Assad defends Christians and Jews but al Qaeda beheads them and rapes their widows. I pray victory for Syria over al Qaeda, ISIS, and all the other savage militias fighting to murder “infidels” in Syria.
