BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:55 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) had another productive day inside the eastern pocket of Aleppo, capturing four more districts from the jihadist rebels of Jaysh Al-Fateh and Fatah Halab after a violent battle that lasted for several hours on Wednesday.

Despite repeated claims by social media users of their capture, the Sheikh Lufti and Marjah districts were finally seized by the Syrian Armed Forces during a swift military operation that included the elite Desert Hawks Brigade and Syrian Marines.

Video footage of this military operation was captured by Hezbollah’s official media wing on Wednesday; it shows the Syrian Armed Forces engaged in a heated battle with Fatah Halab militants inside the Sheikh Lufti District.

With Wednesday’s success, the Syrian Armed Forces can now turn their attention to the final districts under Jaysh Al-Fateh’s control in the southern corridor of the east Aleppo pocket.

Where are you Musa (al Omar)?” Although there, they were a bit less edgy than as usual : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjiXCVMLxIM “These are the soldiers that are determined to make sure you don’t leave in green buses. No green buses for you! Only yellow trucks (bulldozers) for you! Got it?” But they managed to do much serious jihadi-trolling with longer reports, especially during the recent failed Qaedan offensive : +8 min… Read more »
