The Bahraini police arrested the prominent peace activist Nabeel Rajab at his house on Monday morning.
According to a tweet from his wife, Sumaya, Nabeel was arrested after the Bahraini police searched the family’s home.

Nabeel Rajab’s family first posted about his arrest just minutes after the Bahraini police surrounded their home in the Ban Jamra neighborhood of Manama (Bahrani capital).

Last July, the Bahraini leader, King Hamid bin Issa Al-Khalifa, granted Nabeel Rajab amnesty after being pressured by the international community.
Since his release, the peace activist has been the target of harassment by the Bahraini regime police and their associates.
