The Bahraini Foreign Minister Sheikh Khaled bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa said during an interview with Al-Arabiya TV on Friday that the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) was prepared to confront Iran over its current role in the Middle East.

“We send a message to Iran and to all its followers. We are now serious about confronting it and we have no hesitation to defend our people, states, interests and brothers in the region because this is a vital issue for us.”

The FM stated that the Iran must completely change their policy towards the Gulf Cooperation Council and stop supporting their enemies.

He further added that Iran is aiding Shi’i Muslim “terrorists” by giving them financial and military support to locals in Bahrain.

Recently, the Al-Khalifa regime has taken a staunch anti-Hezbollah stance inside the country, kicking out Lebanese Shi’i Muslims living and working inside of Bahrain.

Iran has not responded to the Bahraini Foreign Minister’s threats.

Well the good news is that after the House of Saud sells off the oil business and does a midnight move to the US with the money all these other GCC monkeys will just blow away in the wind.

Funny fact : all intelligence community tends to consider the main Daesh and Al-qada backers are saoudis (9-11 were saudis, weren’t they?), quataris and turkish… Khaled bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa seems to be much more at risk to die in a heart attack than from a terrorist attack especially as it seems that Bahrein wasn’t targeted by anyone. IMHO, the REAL deal is that several countries have switched the petrodollars for selling oil in €uros. Another REAL point is the building of a pipeline through Syria : Assad being allied with Iran would build an iranian pipeline, if ousted, this would… Read more »

Obviously the Bahraini royal family are doing it tough. Not getting enough to eat. Perhaps they could repair their fortunes with low oil prices by offering themselves for nude centrefolds for raunchy womens mags.
