The Azeri Army reportedly lost 8 points they captured earlier from Armenian forces in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, leaving several dead and wounded on Monday.
As a result of this counter-attack, the Azeri Army suffered a large number of casualties in the process of this advance, including the estimated loss of 40-50 military personnel these past two days.
The Karabakh Ministry of Defense reported that the Armenian forces suffered 20 casualties as of April 4th; this does not include the 26 soldiers that are missing-in-action (MIA).
The Ministry of Defense added that the Azeri Army has lost 18 tanks, 3 IFVs, 6 drones, and 2 helicopters since the inception of these clashes.
Reports surfaced that the Azeri Army captured the village of Mataghis on Monday; however, this was denied by the Karabakh Ministry of Defense.
